A CASE IN POINT

One client, a female and mother was observed as being distant from two of her children. As a result the children gave all their love and needs to the Nanny. The mother's distance was predicated upon her relationship with her husband. The husband was also distant however his distance was effecting his wife negatively thereby she, in her concern about the marriage, was primarily focused upon her distant husband. The children began to love the Nanny to the exclusion of thee mother. When this was observed both parents were recommended to enter Couples Counseling with one of the Licensed Therapist associated with this firm. Over time both parents were assisted in their marital problem while being informed that not attending to these issues would lead to psychological damage in their children.

Therapy

The therapy revealed that the father was frightened of intimacy while the mother had a history of attraction to 'distant' men. The therapy took time since these were deeply embedded issues however the result was a change in the way both parents related to the children whereby the children became more attached to the parents and emotionally felt more nourished.

This case is one of many possible situations which can be observed by one of our Nannies. For all purposes this early intervention stopped the possibility of the children developing serious problems with their abilities to form healthy bonds both with other children and with authority figures.

Michael specializes in anger management and shows people how to use anger in the service of love; no arguing; no screaming; simply learning to express anger in a way where better connection, certainly with a parental couple, is achieved.

Anger problems can destroy a child's innocence and thereby traumatize the child setting the stage for a horrendous future for that individual. Anger problems are primarily the toxic elements that

destroy families and their children. So, all our Nannies, are trained to spot these issues and help to correct them before trauma sets in.
